papaglide 542 #1 Posted June 11, 2011 well I bought a nice 416-8 and noticed that when starting in 2 or 3 gear the clutch kind of sticks and she kind of does small wheelies when starting out. It is a 1997 and has the gas dampener on it. How do I adjust the clutch to eliminate these wheelies and whiplash as well? Thanks....pics coming soon! :hide:
Retired Wrencher 5,830 #2 Posted June 11, 2011 :hide: it is all in the clutch adjustment rod. that ties in with the brake. the pedal should go down about 1/2 way to the fan shroud I had the same issue this spring with my 1057. did some fiddling with till it ran smooth. t/care Gary B............ Stigian 1,234 #4 Posted June 15, 2011 Sometimes wheelies just happen.. Though I think the weight of the roll bar might of had something to do with this
