Carb Kit and Intake Gaskets

Hello Guys and Gals,

I just got around to working on my own tractor and I find that I can not find the parts I need for my 73420, 416-8 with an Onan P216g engine.

The motor was surging so I decided to remove the carb and clean it and install exhaust and intake gaskets.

I go on line but I can't find the right carb Nikki 6100 27-261, 146-0697, 54S.

This carb has no adjustments, bummer! Should I buy a better carb? Do you have one?

So, would anyone have an idea where I can get parts?

Please don't say Onan, I tried them also.

What material is used to seal the upper and lower intake manifold??

I dont see a kit listed for the numbers you quoted but it might be worth a phone call to ask.

I resealed my intake manifold with "Versahem Type 1" , its only been about 3 months now, but so far its been fine. I drilled and tapped my manifold to take 6-32 socket head cap screws instead of rivets.

I didnt use a kit on my carb at all. just gave it a good soaking and clean out and put it back together.

I havent tried to get intake gaskets, but I ordered exhaust gaskets through my Toro dealer.
