I bought a bearing and stainless snap rings and made a belt tensioner out of stainless I would like to make the pulley on the cross shaft out of stainless but

for now the stock one will have to do

for those who know about cnc machining I programed and built this pulley on a

cnc horizontal milling machine out of a piece of square stock

I wish I knew about CNC machining. I'd be happy if I knew how to use a lathe. Closest I have come is a pipe threading machine. :hide:

How long does it take to program the machine to machine something like that?

I believe between building fixtures choosing tooling and setting it up and

programing at the machine control I have around nine hours of

my life invested in that pulley :hide:

Well,I've looked at your post at least 4 times and couldn't come up with anything worthwhile to say. That is just an awesome display of talent! It looks like you could eat off of it ,it's that clean! :hide: You are very fortunate to have the tools and materials available to go along with the talent you possess. I think your next project should be a stainless grill tow behind barbeque! You may as well feed the admiring throng that will surely gather around your machine! :WRS:

And I think when he builds one he should bring all the parts over to my

house where I will then Tig weld and assemble then test it out for say for the

next 20 years! :disgust: Okay Okay Brian you and Jo can come over and have

some of my famous Steak on Crackers! :) Well that is if Butch dont beat you
