Lawn Ranger kid 14 #1 Posted June 4, 2011 How rare are the 1045s. Anyone know how many were made. Was there anything special on them besides the front tires and the rear fenders. Josh
Shuboxlover 481 #2 Posted June 4, 2011 I think there was something like a little over 1000 made...but not 100% sure on that one :hide:
Kelly 1,033 #3 Posted June 4, 2011 I have heard there was 1100 made, they were built in late 64 but sold as 65 models, they are a completely different tractor when you start to look at them close, the dash tower is special to mate the old style fenders to the new in 65 square hood, they still use the 64 steering, they are one of 3 tractors to have a big block Kohler in them, the 1045, 1055 and 1075, yes the front tires were only used on that model, there are more small details that set them apart from any other tractor, as for Rare, maybe just uncommon, I have 6 of them, and I know a few other members here have them.
