Recommended Posts

I too am starting to want a round hood, especialy one that looks that good.

Steve she looks good!! Thats crazy being the first one of 6 you had to buy :hide:

The closest I came to getting one free is my C-175 but I had to work on 2 tractors of my fathernlaws plus pay for the materials for him to give me his tractor. I think I only had about $150 plus labor.

Wish I could find something that looked like that but was closer to the size of a

GT-14. Nice tractor.

Let me shed some light on the switch question. This horse originally had a 5.5 Lawson/Techy HT55C-3088P recoil start. That engine was replaced with a Kohler, and then the Kohler was replaced with this Techy. I am not sure what size this engine is. I think it might be a 5hp or a 6hp...no tags on the engine. Anyway, this engine is rigged to either pull start or electric start. The battery will fit in the tool box, which is rare in itself. That toggle switch on the dash is something I have never seen before either. It may be from the airlines. You pull out on the switch and push down to kill the engine...center is for run...and up will crank the engine if the battery is hooked up. Kind of cool really...I like it I might be able to hook it up to a small keg of beer. :hide: That is the story behind the dash...in hind sight, I should have said that at the top.

Steve,

Are you sure that doesn't change the gas flow from the bottom of the cylinder to the top of the head?

Hook a trailer to it and rig up a 12V Kegerator. Take it to Arendtsville and you'll be the "hit" of the show. Everyone bring their own mugs! :WRS: :hide:
