MaineDad 87 #1 Posted June 2, 2011 Guys, Thanks to Darren, I now have a deck for my 753. I need some pictures of how to install the deck and the part numbers of the belts. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance... Micah

squonk 43,844 #3 Posted June 2, 2011 Not sure they are the same, but the belts on my 704 deck are Napa 3L310W
MaineDad 87 #4 Posted June 2, 2011 Mike, Thanks. Do you have a picture of the idler pulley setup? I have the pedal assembly, but not the pulley.
squonk 43,844 #5 Posted June 3, 2011 I don't have a good pic. There is just an arm on the pedal that a pulley bolts to., nothing fancy. If you need a pic I can take one.
squonk 43,844 #6 Posted June 4, 2011 My bad. They are 3L370W. Stupid glasses!! :WRS:
MaineDad 87 #7 Posted June 9, 2011 I guess I need a close up of the pedal and pulley assembly and how it attaches. I just received the pedal / pulley assembly from eBay and I guess I need some help :hide:
squonk 43,844 #8 Posted June 10, 2011 Here's how the pulley and pedal are mounted on my 704. It mounts on the foot stand bar:
MaineDad 87 #9 Posted June 10, 2011 Mike, Thanks. So it looks like I am missing a spring. Easy find though. Where does the other end of the spring attach too? Also, does the pulley bolt to anything like the deck carrier? It has an arm with an obvious bolt hole. Thanks for the help. I owe you one!
squonk 43,844 #10 Posted June 10, 2011 Here is another view of the PTO pedal. The other arms fastens to a stud on the fast hitch. The spring hooks to a cotter pin that goes to s hole in the frame. As far as owing anything to me, the if I'm ever in Maine again ,you can cook me some Ployes!!
dgoyette 12 #11 Posted June 12, 2011 Micah, Having any luck with finding all the missing parts? Hope it is coming along.

zanepetty 117 #13 Posted January 13, 2014 What connects the pulley to the pedal? I'm having a hard time figuring mine out.
Lane Ranger 11,410 #14 Posted January 13, 2014 (edited) The pulley is connected to a plate on the frame -as Squonk noted above. The plates are the old style quick attach and go in front of the pedal that engages the idler. I may have another photo of this set up that shows these parts better that I will post. zanepetty 117 #15 Posted January 13, 2014 Thanks a ton. I would appreciate that. I see where the pulley itself mounts to the quick attach mount but I don't understand how the pedal engages it.
