smitty316 24 #1 Posted May 31, 2011 I just came across a Ranger 10 for $150.00. It's in great shape, but it's a hydro. I was more in the market for an 8 speed gear box. It runs like a top and even has a mower deck that's in good shape. Are these models rated for ground contact attachments like a tiller? It sounds like its Sunstrund tranny is more beefy than my 700 Eaton. I didn't commit yet, but I think I will in the morning Any thoughts, Smitty
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted June 1, 2011 Ranger 10 ?????? Are you sure it's not a Raider 10? ALL Raider models were gear drive, so it's either been tampered with, or the seller doesn't know anything about :hide:
Kelly 1,033 #3 Posted June 1, 2011 Well I'm going to take a stab and guess you ment raider not ranger, and with that said a hydro back in the late 60's early 70's would be a Charger, so before we can say too much we need better info. TT you beat me to it.
