Same old question

Same old question been asked a million times before but I don't want to goof up. I know that the basic rule is whatever direction your blade turns the nut comes off the other way. Been soaking the nuts on my md. # 78315 deck all day and they will not break loose at all. I am turning clockwise as the blades apear to turn counter clockwise. The deck is used but new to me, looks to be in very good shape except the blades need a good sharpenning.

As always thanks a heep for the help.

I'm with Mike - nuts come off counterclockwise, at least on my 37"SD, 42" RD, and two different decks on my green tractors. :WRS:

Anti-clock, impact wrench. No impact wrench? Simulate impact wrench with many-

times-repeated whacks with the hammer on the wrench. It will come off with

patience. Anyway, did for me.
