I'd say its a 1949-1952 I you no the origianal model and serial # i could narrow it down to the year. some time in 53 the went to the belt clutching style. still a very good find and extremly rare sickle mower espcially for the walk behind very cool! :hide:

Jeff- is there any signs of a "Pond" decal on the other end of the Briggs 8 Gas tank?? Great find- excellent original piece if it had the Briggs 8 on it even if it doesn't run. I have seen several cutter bars, but the plow is pretty rare as to what I have found through the years.

hay the plow is a homemade plow its a david bradley snow plow . i have to check the engine . but im sure it is orig to the machine . it runs , drives and does all it should do . the briggs engine that is on it now smokes like burning black rubber just a lot of smoke lol . i really hope to sell it . due to i wont be able to get to it soon .

I forgot to add this- I believe you have a 1953 walker. 46-52 used the flat bar style engagement handle. In 53 they used the round rod which is on yours. Also when I refered to a plow- I meant the garden turning plow- sorry!

Thanks for posting the action video, looks really cool. I now see where the Segway idea came from. I'd like to get it just to ride around the neighborhood on. Is that as fast as it goes? :hide: Oh by the way, I thought you said it smoked real bad? :)
