Never mind I answered my own ?. I done some reading on some of the other post and had an idea. I took the dip stick tube out of the transaxle and used a flash light to shine down in the transaxle I was able to see 4 bolt heads and 8 pinions on the 8 pinion transaxle and you will see 5 bolt heads and 5 pinion on a 10 pinion transaxle. Hopes this helps someone else. :hide:

TT

As long as the cylindrical spring is not broken or missing, the axles on a 10 pinion will both rotate in the same direction, while the 4 & 8 pinion units will rotate in opposite directions.
