oldredrider 2,553 #1 Posted May 25, 2011 I recently picked up a C-160H that was repowered with a 12Hp Kohler. The PO used an aftermarket drive belt..I KNOW!!..NOT a good idea!. Of course, the hydro doesn't fully disengage when the lever is "up": still spins the pump. The question is: Did this tractor come with engine belt guides or does it just use the belt guard? I've looked at the drawings on Toro's site (as I don't have a manual) and can't find the answer. I will go back to the WH belt when I do a restoration, but need to know if I need belt guides. Thanks in advance.
