Garden plowing

Recommended Posts

I got the plow out tonight and started to work the garden over, and with out me standing on the plow or pushing down on it doesn't cut that deep. My C 101 has a depth control and I have adjusted it both ways and it still doesn't help out that much. Any ideas, should I add weight to the plow?

It had rained for about a week till the day before the plowday. The farm we did this at was very muddy. The farmer buried his 3 bottom plow and had to pull out his big case tractor. So yes it wasn't ideal. And cause of all the rain we have been getting everything is behind here in PA. On my family farm we haven't been able to get out and do anything and my uncle has the farmall c and the **** spreader buried in the one field. Now the rain stopped and its 90 with 90% humidity. Really strange weather we have been having
