Clarkbug 0 #1 Posted May 20, 2011 Hi All. I finally took the blades off of my mower deck to sharpen after the spring "oops I missed that stick" mowing. Some of the blades had two washers one each side, some only had one. One looked sort of wavy, like it was supposed to be springy. Are these just regular washers? Or are they worth paying the Toro prices to make sure I have the right ones? The parts tree diagram indicates one washer on the back (top, towards the mower) and two on the front side. Any help is appreciated!

They are a part that frequently gets replaced and it is possible none of them match your manual. :hide:
Clarkbug 0 #3 Posted May 21, 2011 That is an excellent point Rolf... So I guess I should re-phrase things some. What is common to use for washers/nuts for mower blades? I would assume I can get by with a regular washer on each side. Then again, I dont know why there are spring washers in there either....
