Missed Opportunity of the Year Snowblower

I missed out on this snowblower that was listed on craigslist for $100 bucks. The blower looks brand new. I offered $300, but someone had called the night before and was coming in the morning to get it. There are a few guys in the Pittsburgh area that buy a lot of Wheel Horse stuff and flip it. I hope someone bought it to use.

When you're looking for something like that, you need to constantly check the ads and when you see what you want, immediatlly jump on it. I've also missed some great deals being just a bit late but also gotten a few being the first caller and get right there. Just yesterday I happened to check cl and saw a leaf catcher/dethatcher and it had just been posted. I emailed right away and luckily was first so the lady called me first. Went right over to see it and when I got there she said she had several emails saying they would buy it unseen. Turned out to be a Parker sweeper/dethatcher in mint cond. with a great running briggs on it. $125. Of course I didn't bother to offer less as I normally would. :hide:

It's unfortunate that you didn't get the blower but the seller is a stand up guy in my opinion. At least the seller didn't screw the first guy over by taking your offer or we could have another post on here about another jerk seller going back on his word after he made a deal. One good thing is that you have a while to find another deal before you need a blower.
