rmaynard 16,344 #2 Posted May 19, 2011 According to my info, and that is not as extensive as others here, the 1046 is a 1966. The only reference to this model can be found in the book "Straight from the Horses Mouth", and on the Toro site. However, other than a reference to it on the Toro site, no drawings, manuals, or parts lists are available from Toro. So if you know where one is available, I would grab it if the price is right. However, if TT chimes in, I think he has some knowledge about it.

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,510 #4 Posted May 19, 2011 This is from Service Bulletin 1961-1990 #338b The model 1046 tractor is the same as the 1056 tractor except for the engine 10 HP Kohler K241S-Spec. 462198, engine pulley and belt guard decal. (Spec number does not look right - possibly ends with a The letter Bee brings up this jerk. The model 1046 has the PT-6 Power Take-Off as standard equipment. Operation and care of this model is the same as the Model 1056, except the engine oil capacity is 3 pints. Special Note - Use 6951 Idler Arm in place of 5411 (Item 42) if a new drive belt is "too long". Garry
