rustyoldjunk 127 #1 Posted May 27, 2008 i havent had a chance to do anything with it but on a whim i threw the duals on it just to take a look.i do enjoy using the newer garden tractors for most chores but for some reason i have a real affliction with the antiques.maybe it comes from growing up on the farm with lots of old equitment.(love those old 2 cylinder john deeres) heres a few pictures.i think with some paint and some TLC this would be great for antique power shows and such. Sparky-(Admin) 19,674 #13 Posted May 28, 2008 that tractor just looks tough,Mike.now to get mine cleaned up more like yours.what model is yours? Well...its no model really. Its just a bunch of parts and a motor put together to make a "C" series type tractor. It started life as a 1981 GT2500 but the Briggs 11hp and all its anniversary decals were gone by the time I got it. It has a Kohler 10 from a Raider and a seat from a 520 and the rear fenders.......I cant remember what they came off. Its just a great worker tractor and I think its goin to the show this year since my D-160 wont be ready. Its real comfy with the adjustable hi-back seat. Mike.......... rustyoldjunk 127 #14 Posted May 28, 2008 i may do something simular.i have a 312 8 thats rough and a c 160 with no engine and a rearend problem.got about everything i think i will need laying around here somewhere to build a nice C style tractor.....and the ways yours looks with the duals inspirers me to be sure to set those parts aside for later use.
