trainman 0 #1 Posted May 18, 2011 I have a question, I own a Wheel Horse 211-5 rider with the 38" deck i have the deck setting at the highest setting but I am still scalping the grass there are no more holes to put the adjuster in I was going to drill another hole but I am asking you people on here first I don't want to mess it up. Will taller deck wheels help this problem? I thought about leaving the deck in the up position and then adjust the deck to a lower setting but not sure if that would work. I bought this unit used. MikesRJ 558 #2 Posted May 18, 2011 Your deck is probably a 37", not a 38", and model number 35-37SL01. That aside, are you sure the deck is adjusted correctly? It should be level. or just slightly low in the front (no more than 1/8"), when parked on a flat surface?
