wheelly 0 #1 Posted May 12, 2011 Needed something to tinker on the other day and was looking at the scrap steel i had and of course my mind got to thinking. Got the winch of ebay for 11.00 dollars. The best part is i moved limestone today and it digs good. I need to develope a different bucket trip as when the bucket is full it is to hard pulling the cable to trip the pin. rustbucket 4 #6 Posted May 13, 2011 i dont think the front duals are hooked up in the picture just sort of sitting there as mock up.
c175inMA 8 #7 Posted May 13, 2011 i dont think the front duals are hooked up in the picture just sort of sitting there as mock up. i think there was a thread a while back that that showed how they were hooked up. The outer ones are an inch smaller :hide:
mr.pipes 4 #8 Posted May 13, 2011 i dont think the front duals are hooked up in the picture just sort of sitting there as mock up. It is difficult to see in the pics but they are attached. Just spacers and threaded rod or allthread depending where you live. Here is a link about the duals where you can see whats going on a little better. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...topic=27544&hl=
JC 1965 1,528 #9 Posted May 13, 2011 :) How much will it lift? It's amazing what you guys do with these tractors. Thanks for the pics. :hide:
Coadster32 793 #10 Posted May 13, 2011 I like the bucket idea. Even has the pull pin to dump the load. (I even see the cup holder on the fender as well!!) :hide:
wheelly 0 #11 Posted May 13, 2011 Not sure how much it will lift. i have had the bucket full of limestone. It made the back alittle lighter so i put 30 lbs. of lead on rear hitch. I think I'm going to add another 20 to the rear. I was spearing gar yesterday evening and it work good for holding the fish. I have another project in mind but sure when i will start it. :hide:
stevasaurus 22,231 #12 Posted May 13, 2011 Very cool Rex...I like the fish bucket. Gotta be nice to ride the horse 50 yards to the lake. I'll bet the bucket will hold ice also. :WRS:
