Proud owner of my first wheelhorse

Glenn

Hi everyone! I've been cruzin this sight for about a week now. A lot of very knowable people on here.

I thought I would introduce myself. I'm Glenn from Silvis, IL.

My dad decided he wasn't using his :hide: and I was looking for a lawnmower, so he gave it to me.

It's a 1981 C-125 Auto. It's well used but still going. It came with a snow blade and a 1968 42" SD mowing deck. The tensioner pulley arm on the deck is broken and I don't think this :WRS: is designed for this style of mower deck. So I'm looking for a 36" or 42" mower deck for it. If anyone knows of one please let me know, Thanks.

I'm looking forward to learning more about Wheel Horses and maybe restoring mine someday.

As you have already found out, you are definitely in the right place for anything related to :)

You have yourself one great machine and it sounds like with a little attention it will continue to serve you well for a very long time.

Post often! :hide:

Wecome to the Sq.

Nice unit there and will last you with proper care!

As for the deck you are correct, wrong style.....but keep it! the spindles and tensioner pullies are made of steel! and useable when you get your correct deck if needed.

Any of the C, 300, 400 and 500 series 36",42",48" decks from 73 to 1997 will fit your tractor. Put add in the classifieds or watch your local CL.
