case442 130 #1 Posted May 12, 2011 Hi all, I picked up what I think is a 551. I pressure washed it tonight and found part of the sticker with the serial number on the frame rail, from looking at other members photo's, I belive its a 551. It has a three speed with reverse trans. It has a 3 HP clinton on it, can anyone tell me what size the engine pulley should be and what size belt it would take. Both are missing. Thank you, Mike
Kelly 1,028 #2 Posted May 12, 2011 A couple pictures would help ID it, a 551 is a electric start 5.5hp lauson/tecumseh, and has the unidrive much like the newer tractors, a 2 piece cast housing, like I said a picture is the easy way to ID it, parts can be swaped over the last 50 years, but we can get close. VinsRJ 721 #3 Posted May 12, 2011 I agree with Kelly, a pic is the best way to ID a tractor of that vintage.
