pulleys

Recommended Posts

The bearing on the V pulley on the mower part that is attached to the tractor came apart today. Do I try to replace the bearing or do I replace the pulley? Also, do I replace the flat pulley at the same time?

How do I get the pulleys off the shaft?

Thanks,

Frank

The V pulley is usually the 1st to go...the flat idler will last longer, but...since they've bed together all this time, it'll be next. Kinda like married... when one old one goes, the other soon follows.... lol

I have both pulleys...with good bearings. For pics and further details, send me an OFF-SITE EMAIL. That is, exit red square and email me.... I'll reply

my email is: daveoman@windstream.net

I presume you mean the pulleys from this 'mule drive'
