My 500 Herd

Recommended Posts

546cowboy

Since I got the 520-8 done today and posted those pictures I decided to get the herd together. Since it won't be long before the Indy 500, maybe you would like to see the 500 Herd out at my house on such a nice day.

From left to right is a 1988 516H - 1990 520-8 - 1989 520H - 1990 520H.

You need a 500 Special to complete that line-up!

Kelly you know I sent you an email about a K-341 and never got a reply. At least I think it was you. Didn't you just get a deal on couple D series?

Actually to complete the set I would also need a 518H along with that 500 Special. Maybe if I wait long enough I'll find a deal on one or the other. Now if someone close to me can help with that, let me know.

I have seen some of you guys getting great deals on Horses but I don't seem to get to those in time, though I did this time.

Yeah, farmer is right. You need a 512d and a 518H to compelte your collection.

Wow, that 60in mower deck is a monster when side by side to a 48in deck. Wow..

Well fat chance finding that 512d since they weren't sold here. I don't know that I'd be interested in a 500 Special since it's not the same style. As far as a 518H you just never know when I might run across one. After all I never expected to get the 520-8 until it just fell into my lap.

As for that 60" deck, I picked that up last year after a 200 mile road trip and man does that thing mow. I was really surprised at the difference between the 48" and that 60". WOW!

Thanks all for the comments. :wh:
