smoke171 0 #1 Posted May 4, 2011 I need to replace one of my rear tires. The sidewall has a leak. The problem I have is they no longer make the tire, Turf Trac R/S 23x9.50 12 NHS. The have other models in that size, but then I will have miss matched tires. So I guess I need to get a pair? $$$ Any suggestions, I really liked the R/S! TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted May 4, 2011 Have any tire wholesalers or "old school" service stations in your area? How about GoodYear, Firestone, etc. tire shops or dealers? Check with them and see what they can get for you. My supplier still lists several 9.50 turf tires, but you are correct about the Turf Trac R/S being discontinued in that size. If you like them that much, you could always get a new pair in the 8.50 width. (they will fit fine on your current rims)
mowerman1193 42 #3 Posted May 4, 2011 I would look into getting a tube to put into it. Unless your wanting new tires anyway..You can run some pretty weathered tires for a long time with tubes in them.. Kevin
smoke171 0 #4 Posted May 4, 2011 Except for the pinhole in the side, the tires are in pretty good shape. If I get a tube what size do I get? The same as the tire or a little smaller?
Shuboxlover 481 #5 Posted May 4, 2011 I'm a HUGE fan of the Carlisle Turf Master. Great traction in snow and sod, but doesn't tear up your yard. Just my 2 cents

TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #7 Posted May 4, 2011 If I get a tube what size do I get? The same as the tire or a little smaller? Look/ask for a tube for the size of your tire, but most tubes will fit several different size tires. (don't be surprised if the tube is marked with something like 23-8.50/9.50/10.50-12)
mowerman1193 42 #8 Posted May 4, 2011 The tubes will say on the box what size tires they are for.. Kevin
