farmer 1,075 #10 Posted April 29, 2011 :wh: b-ski, Thats one of the "cleanest" pre owned tractors I've seen in a while, congratulations. The deck looks like a proper mulcher
Irv 115 #11 Posted April 29, 2011  Nice machine. You will love the 310-8. It will do just about anything you need it to and pretty good on gas. Proper maintenance and it will last forever.
b-ski 0 #12 Posted April 30, 2011 I got to use it today for about 2 hours, and I sware, I was grinning ear to ear. I fell in love with this thing when I saw it and just had to have it. I gave $950.00 for it. I didn't know if that was high, and really didn't care. It has 875 hours on it. I really dont know anything about Wheel Horse machines, but I am really eager to learn, and there seems to be a nice group of people here to help.
skeggordon 0 #13 Posted April 30, 2011 Looks better than the 310-8 that I picked up recently for sure. Better than anything new under $4K for sure. Luckily Toro was pretty good about leaving well enough alone. Yours, Jay Gordon
dgjks6 6 #14 Posted April 30, 2011 The price wasn't bad. If you buy one for half that you would easily spend another $500 making it look that good. If everything works, it was well taken care of, and the deck is straight and rust free I think you did good. And if taken care of, its the last tractor you will need to buy. b-ski 0 #15 Posted April 30, 2011 Everything is in excellent shape. Deck is perfect, no dents or rust. Engine is smooth and full of power. Living in the South, I will only be using it to mow the lawn, and some other light duty work. I am already looking for another...

dcrage 621 #20 Posted April 30, 2011 Does anyone know what this machine sold for new in 1992 with the mowing deck? Don't know what it was in 1992 BUT in 1991 that set up cost me a little bit over $3000 (1990 310-8 with 37 in SD mower deck)
tunahead72 2,346 #21 Posted April 30, 2011 I am already looking for another... We hooked another one, guys! And enjoy your new machine -- what these guys are saying is true, the 310-8 is a real nice machine that should last a very long time if you take care of it. Have fun!
