b-ski 0 #1 Posted April 29, 2011 Hi! yesterday I became the proud owner of a 310-8 Wheel Horse Classic. The guy I bought it from said that it had a 42" deck, but it just doesn't look that big to me. It has 2 blades nder it and I think it's a 38". Is there any quick visual identifiers that would let me know what size deck? sorry for my inexperience, but I am trying to learn a little about my new pride and joy. Thanks. mavfreak 11 #2 Posted April 29, 2011 may be a picture would help Also if you measure the length across both blades that will tell you the width of cut
whfan74 2,015 #3 Posted April 29, 2011 If the deck looks a little off set then it would be a 37" deck. The 37" deck, when mounted, looks like it is on there a little different with the left front out farther than the right front. A 42" deck will come to a rounded point in the middle. Hope this makes it clear as mud for you! :wh:
IthacaJeff 151 #4 Posted April 29, 2011 I've not seen a 42" deck with 2 blades. . . at least the 42" RD for my 310 has 3 blades. Jeff in Enfield NY
