546cowboy 302 #1 Posted April 27, 2011 Being the Wheel Horse guy I am I like to check Craigslist even 150 miles away now and then. I was looking at ads in Indianapolis and ran across this ad for some horses for sale. This is his ad I have several Wheel Horse tractors with mower decks, garden plows and snow blades for sale ..Free beer for every tractor you buy. He had three pictures with some good looking tractors. Thought that was a unique way to sell. Now I know we aren't supposed to put craigslist ads up but I didn't add a link and thought everyone would get a kick out of this guys ad. He is probably a member anyway. jtmoyer 1 #6 Posted April 27, 2011 he has had the tractors listed for over 6 months and put up the same add (except for the beer) every 2 weeks. i have not had time to go up there, it is about 40 min away, yet. maybe after it stops raining and flooding here i can take the bike out and go check it out.
dpm2000bolt 0 #7 Posted April 27, 2011 I was looking at ads in Indianapolis and ran across this ad for some horses for sale. He is probably a member anyway. when I got a tractor around there I checked it out being an hour away. I have been there he does not get online as he has no computer, yet his buddy places the add for him. He instead of flipping houses he is flipping wheel horses. He has many parts and does a pretty good job on restore. He had a D250 that looked show room ready. I think he had 7 when I stopped there. Great guy and will deal with him again. I picked up a brinly 12" Moldboard Plow, and Disc. A slot hitch and the slot hitch adapter yes I agree that is a great way to market.

KB9LOR 4 #9 Posted April 29, 2011 Yeah, that guy is not far from me, but he NEVER posts prices, I won't call anyone on a deal such as he has, simply I don't want him wasteing my time, nor I his.
