Clevis Hitch

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I have a NOS clevis hitch that i'm considering putting on my 312-8 or C-101.

Does anyone have an installation diagram for my install?

Thank you, Mike (case442)

What are the differences between the Type A and Type B? Can they both be used on the same tractors?

Thanks.

HMMM Good question Butch!! Here's the other manual I found.. Not much different except for the rocker shaft.. this one mounts straight to the lift cable!!

This is a clevis hitch on my 414-8. The Slot hitch would hoop up the same way.

pf... I awlays use a BigAzz 'D' ring pull pin instead of the original pin with the circlips. Makes it much easier and faster to swap out hitches.

Not sure exactly what style you have?? Might try this one:

This should be the one you need for the 312-8 or the C-101. That is the manual I put on there after I bought a kit and put it on My 2005 Toro Wheel Horse 315-8 Classic GT. I also put my own pictures on here because some in the manual wasn't very close or clear. Only difference I could see from the links, was 1 looked to be for older C series (pre 78) and this link should be for 78 and newer. for sure though.
