ricksrj58 273 #1 Posted April 26, 2011 well this one was interesting since the base of the engine was too wide for the frame and i do not have a welder . so i had to make a temporary halfa@@ed motor mount.

Kelly 1,029 #3 Posted April 26, 2011 That is a WH engine it should have bolt holes in the bottom of the oil pan on the right side from setting on the seat, and they should line up with holes in the frame.
bo dawg 516 #4 Posted April 27, 2011 I believe on that one the engine/oilpan base is wider then the frame. I had 2 of them like that. It was only bolted down with the 2 bolts on the left side, sitting in the seat. I've seen quite a few like that. Doesn't seem to hurt anything though. First one I ever owned came that way and I just made a hook bracket that was studded to hook on frame and then through the mounting hole on pan and tightened it down. refracman 167 #5 Posted April 27, 2011 there should be holes in the underside of the pan to bolt it down
bo dawg 516 #7 Posted April 27, 2011 Wow, never knew that. But haven't had that many off the frame before either.
