Commando 8 pictures (dial-up warning)

Buzz

Here's some pictures of my new 1968 Commando 8. I picked up a carburetor kit to put in this weekend and it should run. If it runs good i may keep this one and sell the 856. They are almost identical. Same exact engine.

I bought the little wagon on ebay for $36. it's all steel and I'm either going to put a bench seat so I can tote people around, or put either my Lawn Ranger or Bantam on it to tow in parades.

I resized my pictures to message board but two of them look a little big. Sorryy

Nice tractor and trailer Buzz. Looks like someone put some work into the trailer. I like the diamond plate fenders.

Buzz, I'd offer to triple your money on that trailer, but the shipping would eat me up.

Nice combo there Buzz!

I agree with TT, Nick, Terry, E & LB..that trailer looks very stout & well built.

That was a bargain find on epay. :WRS:

I will also say that looks like a very clean 854...or at leat the bottom half.

It worked out neatly on the trailer. It was in Bridgeboro NJ which is over 50 miles away so I almost didn't bid. My mother-in-law had been staying with friends in Trenton for several weeks and called and asked if I could come pick her up in a couple of days. Hmmm, if I won the trailer it would be only 5 miles out of my way so I placed the bid. :WRS: And to make matters sweeter, she insisted on filling my gas tank when we got home.......and you know us married men NEVER argue with our mothers-in-law
