sgtsampay 117 #1 Posted April 24, 2011 Hi all. I want to check the oil level in my tiller to make sure it not to full but how do I do that? the manual says to open the bottom plug in the operating postion? Can anyone explain this to me a little better than the manual does. Thanks.
tgranthamfd 28 #2 Posted April 24, 2011 I think the steps you mentioned would be for oil changing. All mine has is a plug on top you can see down in, for filling. When I got mine, I went ahead and drained it and filled it to specifications.
sgtsampay 117 #3 Posted April 24, 2011 Well how did you see how much oil to put in? Did you jsut drain it and put in like a quart or so?
tgranthamfd 28 #4 Posted April 24, 2011 I would have to look it up, but I think it called for a quart or quart and a half of 75w 90. Let me dig around some and I will look up the specs. Which tiller do you have? I have the 77-36TL01. Capacities should be the same on most.
