boovuc 1,090 #1 Posted April 21, 2011 My 416-8 Speed is rigged up with a same year 42 inch deck now and tonight I used it for the first time. Wow. I've always been a fan of the twins like my trusty C-175 but that Onan is very smooth. (And quiet compared to the KT17 even when it had a newer muffler). The turning is very tight compared to any tractor I have. The ride is much nicer. I could get spoiled. I think the hours are going to go way down on the C-175 and the 310-8. farmer 1,075 #3 Posted April 21, 2011 Boovuc, couldn't agree with you more, the Onan's are very smoooooth . The only downsides are their thirst and when they start hunting
boovuc 1,090 #4 Posted April 22, 2011 I know what you mean, Farmer. They do consume and I've seen the cost of the rebuild kits! BooVuc Mill Hall, PA
