24Z mower deck won't engage

Have a 24Z with mower deck. This Spring I noticed the mower would not always engage with I flipped the switch. So I replaced the switch - DPDT. Worked for a few times, but no the deck will not engage at all.

With motor off and ignition switch on, I can hear the solinoid clicking behind the belt pulley, but no thing else happens.

Please answer - grass is getting high. No dealers anywhere around.
