WHAT IS MY PTO CRANK SIZE?

Recommended Posts

illinilefttackle

Anybody know what the PTO crank size of my K-301as is in my C-125 Hydro-

Thanks-AL

This guy has new K-301 shortblocks that were built to K-241 specs-by kohler-What do you think? I would only be getting 10HP-maybe a little more with my carb-but as much oil as I have been burning in my 12HP, I'm probably not getting 12HP out of it anyway. These are new-reasonable price-Does it make sense? Or should I opt out and rebuild my engine?-Appreciate any advice!-AL

I would measure it to be sure, but the K301's I have seen on horse are all 1 1/8"

I saw those short blocks and they are a good deal. And I agree that 10 HP is probably way ahead of where you are now!

Al I still have that C121 engine block here.

Some of the parts are striped...but the internals are there if you'd want to get it looked at?

I've never ran it...but your more than welcome to it.

Worse comes to worse have this one rebuilt or at the least a gasket & ring set.

Then when your ready start swapping parts over.

The C121 & C125 used the same type of anti vibration mounting setup so it be a relatively easy swap once this one would be ready to go.
