front tire size

What are the tallest 8" tires for front of tractor ? Are tri-ribs available for 8" wheels ? now have 16x6.50x8

Miller Tire Co sells a set of Firestone tri-ribs that are that exact size... I just put them on my C-160:

They look and perform very nicely... though they are expensive ($70 each) and are a bit tough to install (very tough sidewall -- they are 4-ply). I'll be posting pictures of the tractor at some point soon.

I got some 3 rib tires from K-morrow tire...a pair was about 75 bucks (and that is shipped). 4 ply w/tubes. They are a bit slimmer but I think others have bought them also. Do a search on ebay for this.....

Like I said they are slimmer, about as wide as the rim, but look great to me. Really need the tubes though. I don't know how you'd air them up without them. :thumbs:
