nylyon-(Admin) 7,880 #1 Posted May 21, 2008 Thought I would start a new thread. I still haven't painted the wheels, and to make it a little nicer, I added some Hub Caps. The decals went on this morning and I think that it is coming along quite nicely. Stephen, these hubcaps are not staying on it, they belong to the 416-H. Too bad the hub caps are so expensive. Well, here it is!

Yes, I know the 416 is filthy, that's why it isn't shining. There will be another (later) with everyting nice and clean.

MaineDad 87 #15 Posted May 21, 2008 WOW What a job you have done! Which one do you like riding better?
nylyon-(Admin) 7,880 #16 Posted May 21, 2008 It's a toss up on which one I like driving more. I really like the C-160's directional control, but the 416-H has a far better ride and better suspended seat. The 416's Onan is, in my opinion, a much smoother and quieter engine. But I totally enjoy driving the C-160, it is a fine machine (good looking too!)
nwh1-0475 0 #17 Posted May 21, 2008 Look awsome Karl
linen beige 15 #18 Posted May 21, 2008 I'm also speechless. That C just looks fantastic and I also like the shot of the two generations together. Awesome. With the WHCC show coming up, that I won't be able to attend, (I'd love to meet some of you guys) there is a great opportunity to take a few shots of several generations posed together. From the ponds to the classics. And if Mr. Pond was in a shot, it would be priceless. And I would pick this C to represent it's group, if the wheels get done in time. TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #19 Posted May 21, 2008 Karl, your C-160 is AWESOME ! ! ! ! ! (ummmm...... do you need me to send you up some air for the right front tire on the 416? I have some here I'm not using. )
nylyon-(Admin) 7,880 #20 Posted May 21, 2008 You noticed that tire huh? It has air in it now, and will be getting a tube this weekend. After I replaced it last year, it held air fine until this year. There's a brand new tube on the shelf waiting to be installed!

kpinnc 14,585 #23 Posted May 22, 2008 Yes, I know the 416 is filthy, that's why it isn't shining. There will be another (later) with everyting nice and clean. Yeah Karl, that 416 is really taking away from the pic.... And I've got some waterfront property for sale cheap! Both of those machines look great! Of course, knowing the story behind the C-160 (along with the AMAZING paintjob) does make it stand out a bit... I think it's awesome you got the model you've been looking for!
