What value do low hours add to purchase price?

I'm in the market for a used 522xi tractor, mower, snowblower package. A few that I've found with 300 - 600 hours are in the $3500 - $3800 price range. All in decent shape with plenty of life left.

Another identical package I've found with just 160 hours is $5500.

My question: Are lower hours worth $2000 bucks? OR put another way; How much extra would you pay for a 160 hour machine over the 300 - 600 hour choices, all other things (condition) being more or less equal?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I think of it as miles on a car, lower mile models bring more coin. With that said, my mower, a 269H runs as good as it did when it was new 500 hours later. With a properly maintained tractor I've seen 2500 hours on them with no issues.

So I would not pay $2000 more for 1/2 the hours. I may pay $500 extra.

160 is a lot of hours if the oil wasn't changed, when you're taking the difference between an engine with 350 hours or 160 maintenance is the more critical issue IMO. Both being equal I would pay a premium for a low use tractor but not 45%
