Forest Road 594 #1 Posted March 31, 2011 Looking for a little guidance here. I just picked up a GT2500 Anniversary Edition. I was going to sell it. But after looking at it the whole machine is in great shape. Are the chassis the same on the this and a 312-8? I'm considering dropping the Kohler and heavier duty 8-speed onto this chassis. And I prefer the look of a C-series. My 312 runs and works great. The sheet metal is rough. The floor boards are well rusted and bent. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Duff 206 #2 Posted March 31, 2011 According to the Toro web site the frame numbers are different, (108128 for the GT2500; 110648 for the 312-8's)but that may simply have been a renumbering for different model years. I think I've read here that the C's, 300, 400 and 500 series tractors all shared the same basic frame. Others may have better information.
