701 Hood Embossing

What color was the embossed Wheel Horse letters on the hood of a 701. Were they the same color as the rims? But just looking at the letters now even though they are 50 yrs old. They look to be white instead of the off white like the rims. We bought the tractor new in 61 and from some of the Pics we have of it they look white. There again the pics are 50yrs old and some what faded.

As far as I know the letters are to be cream. :thumbs:
