buckrancher 2,694 #1 Posted March 20, 2011 The wife and I went to vist a old WH dealer not to far from where we live a few weeks ago and I found this under a pile of stuff in his shop . he said it had been there for over fifteen years needless to say I made a deal for her and gave him a deposit went back to pick her up on saturday I think I'm in love took the hood off and went down to the shop where I work and got out my body hammers and dollies (just couldn't stand looking at that dent in the hood ) better for now Motor is a clinton 1200-2184 can someone tell me if this is the correct spec.# The motor has good compression but no spark she also needs a carburator and air cleaner when the weather warms up I will give her a good clean up and fix the no spark problem hopefully I can come up with a carburator. I have a air cleaner set up also need too get some new drive belts I'ld like to take her for a drive around the yard shes been loafing for too long Brian

MikesRJ 558 #8 Posted March 21, 2011 NICE SHAPE, and to think I missed seeing her come home by only a few days. Man I wish I could have seen your face while you were unloading it. GREAT FIND! #2000
VinsRJ 723 #9 Posted March 21, 2011 WOW, Brian.... looks like a nice late 1955 or early 1956, hard to tell if the front rims are silver or black.... yes that is the original Clinton on it. The recoil is incorrect, though. And as always great metal work
AMC RULES 37,198 #10 Posted March 21, 2011 How could you not be in love? Going to do a full on resto or clean up and leave it in original, as found condition?
clintonnut 126 #11 Posted March 21, 2011 Very nice find Brian. Has great patina! Anyway that tractor originally had a 1200-100 series with the drop down intake and oil bath but 50% of those threw rods so they were replaced with the 56-57 variation clinton which is what you have.
