fireman 1,021 #1 Posted March 13, 2011 A friend of mine is the caretaker of a property that was just sold because the elderly person died recently. The family wanted him to take what he wanted in the barn because an estate sale company was coming in to liquidate everything. He knew I collected and told me there was one buried in the barn but had no idea what it was and also had no interest in it (he scored a Ford 2N that had be restored 10+ years ago). I have been waiting for 2 months to be able to go and find out what it was. Well today I got the chance. Turned out to be a 877. It has a replacement engine in it and definitely needs some work. I had brought my jump box with me and the engine turns over fine. Tires are all shot. He has known these people for a long time and as far as he can remember he had never seen it before so odds are it hasn't been run in 15-20 years! For free I'll take a shot in the dark and see if I can get it going.
