Red Horse 33 #1 Posted March 12, 2011 I have a question for some of the experts here on the forum. I recently saw a CR listing for a WH mower deck in which the seller claimed that 'since JD made WH decks, the parts are still available" This dosen't quite sound right to me. I knew there were a lot of attachment makers for WH but I thought that they at least made their own mower decks. Am I correct?
rwilson 128 #2 Posted March 12, 2011 I believe Wheel Horse made the decks. I dont think JD built them.

Jim_M 179 #5 Posted March 12, 2011 It depends on the deck. The deck for a D-250 is the same deck that one of the larger J.D.'s used. The D series 3 point finish mower was made by Woods and the thin 60" that came on a C-195 was made by Ariens. John Deere also used some Ariens decks.
