Giles 2 #1 Posted March 12, 2011 As some of you know, I have a WH C175 and a Gravely G16. I love both machines and their good quality build, but I must admit the standout quality of each. The gravely has better traction on some of my rough ground but does not have the quality cut of the WH. As a matter of fact, I have never owned a lawn tractor that gives the quality cut of the WH. I think it may be because of the anti-scalp rollers on the WH deck. That includes two Zero turn mowers with one being a Kubota Just my humble opinion
mavfreak 11 #2 Posted March 12, 2011 Both are well built tractors and will do just about anything. If I didn't have the horses I would be looking at the gravely's I had two a walk behind which was way to small for what I needed to cut grass but the tiller and cutter bar was great options, and I had a rider that had a 14hp in it without hydro when the trans went I sold it but I really liked it only thing was it was so heavy in the rear that it would get stuck in my very wet yard and I couldn't mow have of it. Still a great tractor!
