wes123 0 #1 Posted March 12, 2011 I just got a old wheelhorse not sure what size the engine is or what year it is the model no. is K301S and serial no. is 47147B. It did't have a battery I jumped it to start it when I unhooked the cables it dies. what could cause this? 12 hp...and I think you have to have a battery in there for it to run...may be mistaken, but my 855 did the same thing...
