tmessenger 0 #1 Posted March 10, 2011 I sold my wheel weights as I have two sets of wheel/ tires and thought I would just leave my winter set chained up and have them filled with rim guard and just change them out in the spring. A local tire place has the rim guard and will fill them for me with 6 gallons (66 pound each). Is there a speed limit when plowing with the filled tires ? I usually plow in high gear but not full throttle so maybe 4 mph is this OK or should I keep the speed slower ? Thanks Tim
sorekiwi 761 #2 Posted March 10, 2011 I have about 60 lbs of washer fluid in each rear tire of my plow tractor, and its fine at full throttle in top - as long as I dont hit anything!!

mavfreak 11 #4 Posted March 10, 2011 Yes Kelly is right. My stopping distance I would say doubled. Now before I could lock up the rear And slide Now that doesn't happen.I have very flat ground but I wouldn't trust it on hills And I'm thinking of draining mine for the summer
