landsurveyor 2 #1 Posted March 8, 2011 Hi Folks, I thought, as I have been on here for a couple of years now I should load up some pics of my fleet, I always enjoy looking at other peoples rides. I currently have 6 tractors - 5 Wheelhorses, and some old yellow and white thing...... Due to a young family, I dont get as much time to work on them as I would like, but my two girls have to come first...... Hope you enjoy looking at them (hope the photos work!!) Mith 2 #2 Posted March 8, 2011 Tidy looking machines! I do like that cub. About the only thing with a gearbox stronger than a wheelhorse!
mavfreak 11 #3 Posted March 8, 2011 they look good! Quick question on your commando, did you add that parking brake ?
farmer 1,075 #4 Posted March 8, 2011 Hi Simon, Looks like you have some real "thoroughbreds", don't the chrome hub caps change the tractors look...almost car-like, not to sure about the yellow one though Is the cultivator a Mayfield ? only it looks a bit like mine. Thanks for sharing.

VinsRJ 721 #6 Posted March 9, 2011 Nice tractors but I'm in love with your garden building! Wish I had something like that on my property.
mavfreak 11 #7 Posted March 9, 2011 There looks like there is only decal differences between the commando 800 from the US to Europe, plus the commando800 was only made from 72 73 here as you have yours as a 74. Pretty cool
dgoyette 12 #8 Posted March 9, 2011 Nice horses! I like the C-141 very much. And I am with Vince what a beautiful building you have. Very nice.

SNYFIX 12 #13 Posted March 9, 2011 do they sound different in the UK vs. the US? You laugh but they actually might !! They're fuel is formulated different over there so they're 'winny' might be different especially too because they don't use ethonal. The big question though is does he drive on the right hand side of the yard like they do on the streets ???!!!
Anglo Traction 759 #14 Posted March 9, 2011 Impressive set of :wh:s there Simon. The Cub look's to be pretty mean. The big question though is does he drive on the right hand side of the yard like they do on the streets ???!!! Er! Synfix..... UK Drives on the LEFT.
meadowfield 2,545 #15 Posted March 9, 2011 Looking good Simon! had to admit I was drawn to the building more than the Horses...
farmer 1,075 #16 Posted March 9, 2011  I know , but in the UK... and a few other countries we drive on the left, our cars are "right hand drive" Just re-read, and saw your remark Richard. ( me !)
landsurveyor 2 #17 Posted March 25, 2011 Thanks for all of your kind words guys!! Thanks for the comments on the greenhouse, its actually at my father in laws greenhouse, a reconstructed version of the greenhouses that were there in late 1800's they were about 6 times the size of that one!! Have had a chance to have a play with my C141 last week, and also made some front weights for it (and I didnt break anything either!!): Simon.
neil 2,398 #18 Posted March 26, 2011 Nice job on the front weights Simon & the 141 looks a real nice tractor. what did you make the front weights from? Its great to see the tractors grafting aswell good pics & the greenhouse looks really good Neil
farmer 1,075 #19 Posted March 26, 2011 Nice nose weights Simon, reminds me of the "slab" weights that ford used on their force and 1000 series tractors, and a "towing" eye too!
Anglo Traction 759 #20 Posted March 26, 2011 I agree, good F/wt system Simon. My money is on the Weights coming from A Weight Lifting Frame. My Son has filled the Garage with Training gear, So I know where to get similar extra weights if I need them

AMC RULES 36,961 #22 Posted March 27, 2011 Nice collection you've got there Simon, good job on the weights. Wondering where you got 'em from? Really like the nice greenhouse too.
landsurveyor 2 #23 Posted March 27, 2011 The weights are from a weight lifting frame that was abandoned in a house I was surveying, that was due to be flattened, so though i might find a use for them......(could only fit/carry four in my bag!!) The towing eye is from my Volvo V50,, thought it looked about the right size, and it was! Hope i dont ever need a tow now!! Thanks again for your kind words.
