meadowfield 2,754 #1 Posted March 8, 2011 I've seen the hydraulic 3 points on the D series, but I've just spotted Wes here in the UK has a Raider 14 with 3 point hitch - that doesn't appear to be hydraulic. I've tried to search the web and forum before for any info on 3 point linkages on the older commando/raider/C series but with no success. Are these scratch built items or did Toro/Wheelhorse offer these as factory fit. Any pointers to manuals/photos appreciated - I am looking to add one to mine! thanks mark
mavfreak 11 #2 Posted March 8, 2011 I made mine for manual lift. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...ndpost&p=130345
mavfreak 11 #3 Posted March 8, 2011 Here is more of it but you'll have to go down through this thread some. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...ndpost&p=144941 I make improvements almost every time I use it. So its never really complete enough for me I'm also finding something I can do to improve it.
meadowfield 2,754 #4 Posted March 8, 2011 cool thanks for this. did you design from scratch? or get some inspiration from a wheelhorse design? I'm assuming yours is a mechanical linkage to the deck lift lever. thanks mark
mavfreak 11 #5 Posted March 8, 2011 It is from scratch wheel horse did not make a three point setup for a manual lift tractor. It does lft with the lifting arm for the deck but is very limited on what weight can be lifted I don't really go into much detail on how I made it cause I fab'ed it before I joined RS. I can try to answer any question you may have
sorekiwi 761 #6 Posted March 9, 2011 There has been a few scratch built ones over the years. Kevins Bronco: http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=741&hl= http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=639&hl= http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=1599&hl= Which inspired Nick to add one to the Load Ranger: http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=1883&hl= Both of these were hydraulic, Nick had the hydraulics already for the loader, and Kevins powered by the transmission. Wouldnt be too hard to add a power steering pump to a manual tractor to drive a lift cylinder if you wanted to.
