I'm planning on it...gas at $5.00 a gallon would be the only thing in the way. May fly and rent a car.

How are you going to get that B-100 on a plane?

Know a guy that talked American Airlines into flying his WWII army Jeep to Normandy France for the 50th anniversary there as a prmotional thing. All he had to do was put the battery in a marine case (boat) and stowed seperatly from the jeep as acid corrodes airplane aluminum. A Red Square will easily fit in your carry on ----

It's only Friday and Saturday. We have to be out of the fairgrounds by 9 am Sunday morning if you stay over Saturday night.

Well, I hope you guys have a great time. Will miss seeing old friends I first met at the early shows way back when. Also will miss seeing some new ones I met last year. I had a change of mission, now I am not going to C-17 school which ended on June 24th, I am instead going to March AFB, California to do an HSC on one of our C-17's and we get back June 22nd but I have to work my final day of summer camp on the 23rd. So, instead of pushing it and driving all night to get there for friday morning, I will STILL be missing the show.

Now, if something changes in June or, I get back from out west and FEEL like driving 8 hours in the dark to the show, one never knows....I do have my restored C-195 that I would love to bring...
