6wheeler 669 #1 Posted February 25, 2011 Can I put a 520 swept forward axle on my 165? Or will I have to change mounts as well. I would like to put a 60" deck on it. I think it could handle it as I cut my grass regularly. Does WH have a 52" or 54" deck that may fit w/o modifications? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Kelly 1,033 #2 Posted February 25, 2011 Yes it will bolt right on, but make sure you get the spindles, tie rods, and you will need the lower steering shaft from a early 520 with out gear reduction, or make a adaptor plate to hook the tie rods to, or add gear reduction steering.
