Make your own tie rods

Duff - hope you are feeling better soon. I will be interested in what you find. I am planning on making my own when I needs some. I think they are very cool and would be just plain fun to make.

I wonder if you will notice a difference in the steering. Probably not enough to be too noticeable I would think.

Darren, still haven't made it out to the shop, but to answer your question, on my other 312 with the custom tie rods attached to the bottom of the spindles and a full 1/4" toe-in, I actually tightened up my turning radius noticeably. Steering effort seems a little easier and more predictable, but could just be my own perception. :thumbs:
