TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #3 Posted May 13, 2008 Curly, I did a quick search at the Toro MPV and came up with 23 Wheel Horse models that used a Kawasaki engine. (didn't look for the Toro - W/H models) They are all vertical shaft lawn tractors / RER's from 1987 to 1990 - like 212, 222, 227, 252, 257, etc. Good to see you again! Where have you been for the last month?
KyBlue 655 #4 Posted May 13, 2008 Really? that would have been one of the LAST engines that WH Would've used. TT ... you da man!
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,610 #5 Posted May 13, 2008 I also think Kawasaki engines were used on later 260/270/400xi vertical shaft tractors.
Nick 13 #6 Posted May 13, 2008 The 520Lxi had a 20hp Kawasaki. And it also has a water pump.
Rideawaysenior 25 #7 Posted May 14, 2008 Yep in 87 or 88, there was a 212-H that had that JAP motor in it. Then the 247 and the 257 I believe they were also had them. All verticle shaft tractors though. The only real garden tractor was the 5??Lxi that had the liquid cooled feature. I forgot what the HP was though.
